Update Progress for Key Results

In OKRify, Key Result progress can be updated by the owner or a designated contributor, depending on how the Key Result is set up. Progress updates can happen in two ways: manually or automatically, based on the Unit of Measure (UOM) selected.

📝 Manual Updates

Manual updates are required for Key Results with UOMs where progress isn’t pulled from Salesforce data. Owners or contributors must enter the updated value themselves.

Used with:

• Number – e.g., increasing revenue from $1M to $2M
• Percentage – e.g., project completion from 0% to 100%
• Milestone – e.g., progressing through project phases like “Planning” and “Execution”

⚙️ Automatic Updates

Key Results with data-driven UOMs are updated automatically, pulling live data from Salesforce or OKRify boards. Here’s how each UOM works:

• SObject – Tracks progress using fields from Salesforce objects (e.g., Opportunities Closed)
• KPI – Updates using preconfigured OKRify KPIs based on Salesforce data
• Report – Pulls data from summary fields in Salesforce reports
• Linked OKR – Progress reflects the status of linked Objectives or Key Results
• Linked KR – Tied to the progress of another Key Result
• Board KR – Progress is based on task completion within OKRify Boards
